Description: Hiroshige's interesting design of a famous location in his '60 Views from the Provinces' series.

Abuto Kannon is a small Buddhist temple built on the edge of Abuto cape in present-day, Hiroshima Prefecture. The temple is depicted on a rock as seen from the sea, and above it is a moon with a dull, hazy glow, which is rare in Hiroshige's other paintings.

This version was produced by the Yuyudo Company in the immediate post-war period.
