Description: These prints date from the 1970s/80s, and were made by the Kajikawa workshop, which was hired to produce a folio containing 20 triptychs (60 prints all). They were made at a reduced size (29.5 x 19.5cm) from the original Edo-era prints, which were in the large o-ban format.

Amidst an autumn field, a group of young beauties enjoys an outdoor autumn feast. Dressed in traditional attire, they stand/sit on a red platform, some savoring their meal, others playing a shamisen, admiring the vibrant autumn flowers, or listening to the insect sounds. Fans and pipes rest in their hands as they converse and enjoy the tranquil scene.

The design showcases Shuncho's skill in using elegant colors, with a palette dominated by reds, magentas, purples, and yellows. His meticulous attention to detail is evident in the intricate patterns adorning the kimonos and the delicate rendering of the various objects scattered around the scene.

Please note that the prints are lightly glued to a mat paper with three windows, and will be shipped folded.
