Description: 36 Views of Mt. Fuji is an extremely well-known series. What started as 36 works later grew to include a total of 46 images, containing some of the most recognizable works Hokusai ever designed. It was published c. 1830–1832.

In Japan, cranes are seen as symbols of good luck and seven is commonly recognized as a lucky number. So, this print with seven cranes has a festive touch, even though the colors are reserved and the whole atmosphere is calm.

This particular print is a post-war reproduction by the Takamizawa Company.

There are slight foxing spots and slight toning.
