Description: This print is from "Famous Places of the Province", published by Kaiseisha in 1981. It consists of 19 prints from two series by Katsushika Hokusai: 11 prints from "Famous Bridges in the Provinces" and 8 prints from "A Tour of Waterfalls". The prints are slightly larger than o-ban prints, giving them a more powerful impression.

A man scrubs down a horse in front of a small but powerful waterfall (where, legend has it, the famous warrior Minamoto no Yoshitsune (1159–1189) washed his horse) while another man holds the horse in place by the reins. The careful depiction of the white and light blue spray at the base of the waterfall and the very light orange bokashi gradation on the land on the left side of the waterfall are highlights of the print.

There is slight foxing in the middle right area. Also, there is a trace of glue removal on the backside.
