Description: This print is from a set of reproductions of 25 of Hiroshige's lesser-known prints, given the English title "Rare Publication: Selected Works by Hiroshige" by the publisher, O-Edo Mokuhansha.

A print designed by Hiroshige showing the Hotohoto Festival at Izumo Shrine in Izumo Province, from the series “Famous Places in the Sixty-odd Provinces (Rokujuyoshu meisho zue)”. As part of the festival, celebrants would carry torches to lead the "kami" (divine spirits) to the shrine.
