Description: This print is from the large set of 49 Hokusai designs produced by Takamizawa Company in the mid-1950s. It shows irises and a grasshopper very realistically. The nature scenery is excellently depicted with the detailed expression of veins of the leaves and petals pattern.

This print has slight creases. Our sharp top-light has made the waviness stand out vividly; it's actually not quite so disruptive ...
