Description: This print is from a series which show scenes from traditional Japanese joruri puppet shows. This particular print shows two lovers, Osome and Hisamatsu. The details in the stripes of the kimono of Hisamatsu is a product of care and ambition.

A reproduction published by Ishu Kanko-kai and produced by Kajikawa Kobo probably in the late 1980s or early 1990s.
