Description: This work is one of the series 'Courtesans as the Three Deities of Japanese Poetry', a triptych, representing Yoshiwara courtesans as one of the three gods who protect Waka poetry. This particular print depicts courtesan Somenosuke from Matsubaya radiating elegance and intelligence.

A reproduction published by Ishu Kanko-kai and produced by Kajikawa Kobo probably in the late 1980s or early 1990s.
