Description: This is one of Eisen's excellent series of beautiful women paintings, 'Imayou Mime Kurabe' (Competition Among Today's Beautiful Women). The artist has marked the character 泉 (izumi) and various types of women in a circle, and depicted the corresponding women in the painting.

Tatsumi is a Fukagawa brothel, but this painting depicts a private prostitute of the area, not a typical Fukagawa geisha.

A reproduction published by Ishu Kanko-kai and produced by Kajikawa Kobo probably in the late 1980s or early 1990s.
