Description: 36 Views of Mt. Fuji is an extremely well-known series. What started as 36 works later grew to include a total of 46 images, containing some of the most recognizable works Hokusai ever designed. It was published c. 1830–1832.

You can feel the struggle and exhaustion of those climbing up the steep hills of Mt. Fuji as they almost reach the top. We can tell they have come a long way as the rocky surface is covered with fluffy clouds. This print has an interesting contrast of the rough mountains and the calm sky in the background.

This particular print is a post-war reproduction by the Takamizawa Company.

There are a few slight creases on the right edge.
