Description: 36 Views of Mt. Fuji is an extremely well-known series. What started as 36 works later grew to include a total of 46 images, containing some of the most recognizable works Hokusai ever designed. It was published c. 1830–1832.

This print seems very simple, but a lot of detailed work is put into the surface of the water. The pattern adds movement to the design and you get a sense of how fast the river is flowing.

This particular print is a post-war reproduction by the Takamizawa Company.

There is a slight crease on the upper left.
