Designer: Ando Hiroshige Era: Post-war | Currency: $ / £ / € Price: ![]() Description: From the series of Eight Views of Kanazawa. The Kanazawa area (now Kanazawa Ward, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) was once a scenic area with scenic coves, and the "Eight Views of Kanazawa" is a theme depicted by many ukiyo-e artists, most notably Hiroshige's series. It depicts houses and salt-baking huts standing in the snow and people walking in the snow wearing straw sandals. It is thought that this is a view of the salt fields around Susaki and Nojima looking toward Segasaki on the other side of the river. This particular print is a post-war reproduction by Yuyudo. Note: the size of this print is slightly smaller than the original. Please refer to the displayed measurements for accuracy. ![]() ![]() Browse thumbnail pages of various selections from the catalogue ...
