The Kanazawa area (now Kanazawa Ward, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) was once a scenic area with scenic coves, and the "Eight Views of Kanazawa" is a theme depicted by many ukiyo-e artists, most notably Hiroshige's series. It depicts a flock of geese as well as a group of people enjoying the ebb and flow of the sea. This particular print is a post-war reproduction by Yuyudo.
