Description: From the series "One Hundred Famous Views of Edo (1856-1858) which actually contains 118 total prints, in full vertical format of classic Hiroshige landscapes.

Senzoku Pond holds a special historical tale. The Japanese Buddhist priest Nichiren once visited this spot during his travels and washed his feet there. It is said that he used this particular pine tree to hang his clothes, which is how the tree got its name.

This is a post-war reproduction from the Yamada Shoin Company.

There are slight foxing spots in the upper area and on the margins of this print.
