Description: This print is from the series 'Meisho Edo Hyakkei' (One Hundred Famous Views of Edo). It depicts the beginning of a summer evening at the Asakusa River where many boats come and go, capturing scenes of enjoyable boating experiences in Edo. The pine tree called 'Shubi no Matsu' with its branches extending far over the river, was a landmark for boatmen and passengers on their way to Yoshiwara and Asakusa.

This is a post-war reproduction from the Yamada Shoin Company.

There are slight creases on this print.
