Description: From the series "One Hundred Famous Views of Edo (1856-1858) which actually contains 118 total prints, in full vertical format of classic Hiroshige landscapes.

The teahouse captured in this print was a popular stop for travelers to get a brief rest while enjoying the view of Mount Fuji in the distance. When the third Shogun Iemitsu visited the teashop, he addressed the owner as “grandpa”. This anecdote is said to be the origin of the name of the teahouse.

This is a post-war reproduction from the Yamada Shoin Company.
