Description: From the series "One Hundred Famous Views of Edo (1856-1858) which actually contains 118 total prints, in full vertical format of classic Hiroshige landscapes.

There was a bustling community of fishermen along the Shiba Coast, supplying seafood to the inhabitants of Edo. The poles depicted on the left side of the print were used as sea level markers. It provided useful information for fishermen to navigate the waters safely.

This is a post-war reproduction from the Yamada Shoin Company.


There are slight foxing spots in the lower area of this print.
