Description: From the series "One Hundred Famous Views of Edo (1856-1858) which actually contains 118 total prints, in full vertical format of classic Hiroshige landscapes.

Because the Fukagawa region was a wetland, many canals were dug to deal with the excess water. The canals were then used to transport wood. This print depicts a wintry cold night at the canal with rafts.

This is a post-war reproduction from the Yamada Shoin Company.
