Description: From the fine early set of ten prints: Famous Places in Kyoto, published by Eisendo c1835.

This depicts a ferryboat that connected Fushimi and Namba. The small boat in the foreground is commonly known as a "kurawanka boat" that sold food while calling out "kurawanka, kurawanka" (meaning "Do you have so little money that you can't even eat?")

This particular print is a post-war reproduction by Yuyudo.

Note: the size of this print is slightly smaller than the original. Please refer to the displayed measurements for accuracy.

There are a few slight foxing spots and chiri (mulberry bark scraps) in the upper area of this print.
