Description: Imado, located in the northern part of Asakusa, had many kilns in the Edo period. Hokusai depicts making roof tiles and is made into a surimono. In contrast to the simple depiction of the Sumida River in the background, the movements and production process of the tile makers are depicted in great detail.

This is a post-war reproduction, from the Adachi company.

There is a slight spot in the upper right area of this print.
