Description: The original of this print was painted in 1976, and the artist was 82 years old at the time, making it a life-long work. Depicting plum blossoms in a winter sky, the work is rendered in a few colors, with a subtle stillness and a glamorous quality. The softness of the woodblock print is fully utilized, and the subtlety of the original work is beautifully reproduced in 60 impressions.

Takamizawa Company produced this work as a gorgeous hanging scroll in 1979. Printer: Kikuta, Carver: Sato

The dimensions correspond to the print itself, the whole scroll paper measures 117 cm. x 51 cm. It is scrolled inside a wooden box that measures 60 cm. x 8 cm.


There is a slight foxing spot in the upper part and some creases in the middle part.
