Description: One of Hiroshige's most iconic kacho-e (nature images), this tanzaku depicts an almost catlike little owl taking a nap on a branch. The crescent moon is cleverly concealed under part of the silhouetted branch, and deep blue bokashi gradation is used at the top of the print.


Also, there are a few traces of glue removal on the backside.
