Description: This print illustrates a famous nagauta (long epic song) dance number called Heron Girl, hence the title.

It is a snowy day in this Harunobu’s winter landscape and a young lady with a beautiful white kimono which seems to be emulating the snow is holding a purple paper umbrella under a willow tree.

A post-war reproduction by Takamizawa Company.

This print is slightly toned and has slight foxing and slight creases.
