Description: A green snake is passing between two melons coiling itself on a decorated stand (sanbo) used at a festival. We can appreciate the embossing of the printing technique that is very evident on the delimitation lines of the stand.

This print was a surimono (privately published works, used for gifts or sometimes for making announcements) and includes a syllable poem in the background emulating the singing of the snake itself.
