Designer: Ando Hiroshige Era: Pre-war | Currency: $ / £ / € Price: Description: This is a set of 32 selected reproduction prints from the series of Kyoka Tokaido by Ando Hiroshige. Each print is pasted on a black page of a hard-cover bind book. On each print is a comic poem (Kyoka) hence known as the Kyoka Tokaido. Otherwise known as the Sanoki Tokaido. You can see the entire series at this webpage where they collect fantastic archives of Hiroshige prints designs. The prints look printed by machine because of the striations in the tone and almost no traces of baren on the backside. The displayed dimension is each print size and the outer book size is 25 x 32 cm. The published date is unknown but the prints look old, and they have some foxing and soiling. Also, some prints are creased near the gutter of the book.
