Description: From the series “One Hundred Famous Views of Edo” which actually includes 118 total prints.

This print depicts a Paulownia Plantation in Akasaka under a heavy evening rain. It is represented with parallel vertical lines like a nice curtain hiding some human silhouettes. The very colorful and green foreground stands out against the background who shows a nice gradations of grays.

There are slight foxing spots on the upper right part and right to the signature on this print.
