Description: This is a mid-Showa reproduction (probably 1960s) by the Adachi Company of an image by Eisho, depicting a beauty finishing her after-bath routine under the light of a paper lantern.

The carving and printing work is quite fine, and the background is a very nice example of the use of seki-o yellow pigment ... one which is no longer available to us ...

There are a few traces of glue removal and foxing spots on the backside.
