Description: The print titled “Beauty with Grinding Mill” is part of the “Ten Physiognomic Aspects of Women“ series. In the image, we see a young housewife with her head wrapped in a towel, who appears to be laughing and joyful. It seems as though she has found something amusing while using the mill. During the Edo period in Japan, this type of mill was commonly used as a kitchen accessory.

This print is a post-war reproduction by the Adachi Company.
