Description: This print is included in a set of 50 prints called "Ukiyo Ekagami," a collection of various artists and genres, which was probably a reproduction in the pre-war period.

This print was originally published as a part of the series “Six Immortal Poets". (Rokkasen: six Japanese poets of the mid-ninth century and Yasuhide, whose poem written on this print, was one of them).

Three woman figures are cooling off on a bamboo porch enjoying the outside quiet breeze which is evoked by the moving branches of the weeping willow in the background. Judging by the fact that one of them is holding a hand fan, we can assume that it is a hot summer evening. The two adult ones are about to get tea served by a young girl. The color palette of violet, blue, green, black, and white is very captivating.

There is a slight yellow mark under the bench on this print.
