Description: This print is included in a set of 50 prints called "Ukiyo Ekagami," a collection of various artists and genres, which was probably a reproduction in the pre-war period.

This print was originally published as part of the series “Twelve Types of Women’s Handicraft” by Utamaro. This print of Utamaro depicts two women in an intimate scene, a standing hairdresser is combing the long hair of a seated beauty, maybe there is an important event coming up? The joyful contrast of both of the kimono patterns truly catches the viewer’s attention.

There are a few slight yellow marks in the right middle part and grey marks in the lower part of this print. Also, there are a few slight creases at the top left corner.
