Description: This print is included in a set of 50 prints called "Ukiyo Ekagami," a collection of various artists and genres, which was probably a reproduction in the pre-war period.

Lovely large head portrait of a courtesan. Her relaxed attitude, the loose way she is wearing her kimono, the way her hair is not perfectly combed, and the way she is grabbing the unattached hairs give the scene a very playful and casual touch. The muted tones of gray and black used in the whole palette let the pink of the eyeshadows and the lips stand out in a very tender way.

There are slight tiny foxing spots on the white area of the face and some on the hand and neck.
