Description: This print is from the series 'Kyodo Risshi Motoi' where seven artists made designs from 1883 to 1899. A total of 53 designs were made and each one was inspired by a famous tale. Specifically, tales from which we can learn a moral lesson. This print was designed by Mizuno Toshikata and the man with the blue top is Arai Hakuseki. He started off as a low rank samurai, but studied very hard from a young age and became one of the main advisors of the Shogun.


This print has toning, creases, and wormholes.
