Description: This print is the catalogue page of the series ‘New 36 Ghosts’ designed by Tsukioka Yoshitoshi. In this series scenes of Japanese ghost stories are depicted. The interesting part is that the people encountering the ghosts seem to be the main subject of the prints, rather than the ghosts. Tsukioka Yoshitoshi succeeded in that way to make the ghost stories feel more realistic. This catalogue page fits right in the creepy theme, with the damaged edge design and the spider web covering the whole print.

This print has toning, soiling, creases, and wormholes.
