Description: This print is from a set of reproductions of 25 of Hiroshige's lesser-known prints, given the English title "Rare Publication: Selected Works by Hiroshige" by the publisher, O-Edo Mokuhansha.

Hiroshige captured the terrific movement of the waves whirling at Naruto in Awa (currently Tokushima prefecture). As a landscape print with movement from the waves, it stands out among the series "Rokujûyoshû Meisho Zue" (Famous Places in the Sixty-odd Provinces [of Japan]).

There is a pinhole at the bottom left corner, and slight creases at the upper right part of this print.
