Description: It depicts a scene of Kijin no Omatsu and Natume Shiro-saburo, from the kabuki play, 新板越白浪 (Shinpan koshi no shiranami). Kijin no Omatsu is a female thief who is depicted as one of Japan's three greatest thieves along with Goemon ISHIKAWA and Jiraiya in kabuki, considered a fictional character. It's seemingly a triptych originally.
