Designer: Tokuriki Tomikichiro Era: Post-war | Currency: $ / £ / € Price: Description: This set includes four woodblock prints designed by modern Kyoto printmaker Tokuriki Tomikichiro (1902 - 2000). Details are unknown, but the woodblock prints, which depict mainly shrines in Kyoto, are nicely designed in a very narrow, tanzaku format, and are pasted on a strip of thick backing paper. There are a few slight foxing spots and a few small marks on these prints. Also, the wrapping paper is torn. The wrapping paper is inscribed "In Kyoto, 65, Tokuriki Tomikichiro," perhaps signed by the artist himself and produced in 1965. Browse thumbnail pages of various selections from the catalogue ...
