Description: Although little information is available on the artist, it is likely that this work was originally published in the 1760s, as he seems to have worked on surimono (privately published Japanese woodblock prints, used for gifts or sometimes for making announcements) around that time, under the name Komatsuken.

This work was considered produced as a surimono, so unlike the glamorous ukiyo-e sold in stores, it depicts an autumn scene with a delicate design and elegant light colors.

This particular print is a post-war reproduction by the Adachi Company.
