Description: This print is included in a set of 50 prints called "Ukiyo Ekagami," a collection of various artists and genres, which was probably a reproduction in the pre-war period.

This beautiful portrait of the courtesan Oseyo of the Hiranoya Teahouse shows her behind a fine bamboo blind while holding a mirror and applying makeup. Even though she is half-shaded by the screen, we can still enjoy her face through the reflection where we can appreciate the subtle pink color used as eyeshadow makeup.

There is a slight black mark on the handkerchief.
