Description: This print is included in a set of 50 prints called "Ukiyo Ekagami," a collection of various artists and genres, which was probably a reproduction in the pre-war period.

In this print, Utamaro depicts the courtesan Yoso-oi in her boudoir during a private moment. We are witnessing how she is dressing up and preparing herself by applying makeup while looking at herself in the black hand mirror that she is holding, while another woman is helping her comb her hair.

Yoso-oi is sitting down and wearing a black kimono that contrasts beautifully with the red part of her clothes. The standing assistant woman wears a red kimono with sakura patterns and they both have stunning hairstyles with accessories.

There are slight creases, especially at the bottom of this print.
