Description: Another one of Utamaro's ōkubi-e designs published by Takamizawa in the mid-1970s this print, Eri Yosooi, shows a beautiful young courtesan with her back to us using a mirror to help her apply a white cosmetic powder to her neck and face. The young woman wears a beautiful kimono patterned with small birds, probably plovers.

Utamaro has shown his signature style of drawing delicate hair, even adding some stray strands, the carver has taken care of cutting each individual hair to an almost invisible point.

There is a slight crease at the upper right part of this print. Also, the bottom right corner is slightly faded.
