Description: This print depicts a beautiful young woman crouching down in front of a lantern, trying to get better light to read a letter. The way she holds the letter, almost crumpling it, suggests a sense of urgency - she must know now what it says. The light from the lantern is depicted in straight beams seemingly "cutting" the print into sections.

This particular print is a mid-1970s reproduction by the Takamizawa Company.

This print is a little toned, especially the bottom left part.
