Description: This print is from the series, "The Nippon Mokuhan Gasui" (Masterpieces of old Japanese colour prints), a collection of reproductions of various themes and designs published around 1924.

The design was originally published as a part of the series, 六十余州名所図会 (Illustrated Guide to Famous Places in the Sixty-odd Provinces). The painting depicts a peaceful castle town surrounded by deep greenery. Iga-Ueno Castle can be seen at the foot of the mountain in the upper left of the print. There is a wooden gate on the road leading to the castle at the bottom of the print. The people on the road are depicted small, and their expressions are not visible. However, we can sense a somewhat relaxed atmosphere.

It comes with a description sheet in English and Japanese.
There are misregistrations on this print. Also, there is a pinhole at the top left corner.
