Description: This print is from the series, 日本木版画粋 (Masterpieces of Japanese Woodblock Prints), a collection of reproductions of various themes and designs published around 1924. The print quality is excellent (for most of the prints) and there are almost no traces of baren on the back, so we assume that it was at least partially machine printed.

Fujimaro was a pupil of Utamaro, and he did mostly hand paintings and fewer woodblock prints. Two women are walking with umbrellas in a snowstorm. They may be shamisen players as a black box can be seen. The snow is expressed in opaque white, which stands out in the overall subdued color scheme.

It comes with a description sheet in English and Japanese.
There is a roughness at a part of the left edge of this print.
