Description: This is a Hiroshige tanzaku-ban depicting the autumn moon from Emonzaka near the New Yoshiwara, from Hiroshige's "Famous Views of the Eastern Capital" series. In the print, a flock of birds flies in front of a full moon in the dusk while a palanquin is carried up Emon slope. The bokashi gradation and the layer of fog that blankets the town are highlights of the print.

There are baren-suji (striations in the tone caused by the printer using a tad too much pressure) on this print.
