Description: This print depicts the portrait of a young beautiful girl. It is a bust format portrait that focuses on her face like a close-up so we can admire the delicate details of her gesture: she is taking one of her hands, which is under the kimono sleeve, to her mouth as if she would like to smile but she prefers to cover her lips and she didn’t dare to show, the delicate pink of her cheeks let us think she is blushing and she has a shy personality. Something beneath her caught her attention so she is looking directly in that direction.

Her violet and red kimono has geometric patterns and she is wearing a high loose bun decorated with a beautiful colored pin accessory.

In the background, the bottom part of a green and indigo curtain (noren) is above her head to show she is passing through and under it, hence the title of the print.

There are slight creases at the right margin and at the bottom margin of this print. Also, there is a scribble at the bottom left corner of the backside.
