Description: This is a full set of prints of what is perhaps the single most famous series of Japanese woodblock prints ever produced - "The 53 Stations of the Tokaido", designed by Hiroshige in the 1830s.

The set you see here is a reproduction version produced in the post-war period by the Takamizawa Company, who vied with Adachi for the top reputation among the print publishers of the 20th century. The dimension displayed is the print image size, and the box size is approximately 35 x 50cm.

An identical set of prints to this was featured in one of the 'David's Choice' YouTube videos in October of 2020.

Special Shipping Notice

This set is massive, weighing in at 8 kg (approx. 17.6 lbs), and cannot be shipped at the ‘economy’ level in our shopping cart, so we have priced it to include shipping at the EMS express level (including insurance) to most common destinations (North America, Europe, Asia).

A few of the prints have slight foxing spots as well as the inside of the outer case but the condition is good overall.
