In this diptych, the right sheet shows a courtesan standing in her room, looking at the two young apprentices in the garden shown on the left sheet. The original printing was made around 1784, during the peak of Kiyonaga's career, and is characterized by its coherent depiction of figures and the beauty of its colors. The displayed dimension is each print size. There are a few slight foxing spots and small marks on the right sheet, and small creases on the left sheet.
