Description: A woodblock-printed postcard probably published for foreign tourists in the post-war period, featuring a sightseeing spot in Kyoto. This print shows Shirakawa-me, women in the northeastern part of Kyoto City, which is famous for producing flowers, and they have been said to sell the flowers since the Heian period (794-1185).

Note: unlike some of the other prints of this type that we currently have in the catalogue, this one is not mounted on a postcard.

There are a few small marks on this print.
