Description: A woodblock-printed postcard probably published for foreign tourists in the post-war period, featuring a sightseeing spot in Kyoto. It depicts Sanjo Ohashi which is a frequently seen motif in woodblock prints history - back in the Edo period, for example, the last print of the 53 Stations of the Tokaido by Hiroshige, but this print shows modern sight with electric wires, a tram, and people in Western-style clothing.

Note: unlike some of the other prints of this type that we currently have in the catalogue, this one is not mounted on a postcard.

There is a small mark at the bottom edge of this print.
