Description: A beautiful woodblock-printed postcard probably published for foreign tourists in the 1950s, featuring a sightseeing spot in Kyoto. This print shows Yasaka Tower (八坂之塔), the five-storied pagoda of Houkanji Temple (法観寺). The red tower stands out in the snowy landscape.

Note: unlike some of the other prints of this type that we currently have in the catalogue, this one is not mounted on a postcard.

There is a white mark at the bottom left corner on the front side and on the backside too.
